Perfect Day ?


A perfect day, a perfect place, but something’s wrong. It was the 10th of October, yet we lay in the sun, warming our bodies after a twenty minute swim. It was bliss.

“Hmm, quite normal for the Mediterranean,” you might say.

But this was Dorset, England, Lulworth Cove to be precise.

“Humph!”

Yes, quite unusual. Even if it makes you happy, granting this wet corner of the world a Mediterranean-Boost, think again. The Arctic is melting astonishingly fast. The United Nations report on Climate Change wasn’t just a flash on the news, it plainly stated what we should do to avoid catastrophe, but that was Monday’s news, today it seems forgotten and the world has moved on.
