still confused

How often we have dreams that do not manifest, or if they do, they go wrong. When this happens, remember it is not what happens to us, but how we take it that counts towards inner sanity. This renewed site (do explore it) has come about due to failure, but most situations have their silver-linings.

We set up the site upon self-publishing Camino Voices. That we ran out of books within a season shows the book was a success, however, being forced to leave France (when they cut my health care after the Brexit vote), we can no longer promote Camino Voices in northern Spain. This means it's not selling much, the internet isn'y enough, you also have to have a physical presence. We can't now earn the money to republish and so shifted this site to a cheaper host, which enabled me to have fun creating a site more reflective of my character. There’s the first spots of silver.

Here's the next:- to raise money for publishing, I’m going to sell my paintings, but first need to make a place to where I can paint, which means raising money by spending less. That means we can’t afford even cafe cups of coffee, because we lost so much money moving from France. Our budget is incredibly tight so we’re used to low life. It means you walk for entertainment, watch the sun setting, listen to the fire crackling. These are meditative activities and they also bond us. There’s more silver shining.

I’m looking forward to painting and have come up with an idea I’ve not so far seen anywhere. That’s my final glowing silver. And the cloud in this photo taken this week has a golden background, so there’s another boon. Imagine such a view from your doorstep. Life really is what you make it.
